NxLeveL for Entrepreneurs™
What is an Entrepreneur?
Working with thousands of small business owners during the past fifteen years has allowed me to study behaviors and practices. I’ve asked many of them, “What do you think is the difference between a small business owner and an entrepreneur?” I never get the same answer twice!
Many believe that obtaining a business license automatically creates an entrepreneur. I believe that what separates the two is largely behavioral. I have noticed that the most successful entrepreneurs are those who cannot stop learning, and the sources of learning are diverse. What defines the entrepreneur is the insatiable drive for knowledge, innovation and resources.
When I was introduced to the NxLeveL for Entrepreneurs curriculum more than a decade ago, I was greatly impressed because its primary content was written by 20 highly successful entrepreneurs from around the country, using more than 200 additional contributing authors. I learned that $6 Million had been invested by the U.S. West Foundation to develop the best practical education for people who wanted to run a small business successfully.
NxLeveL didn’t stop with the written materials, and that’s why they are the number one entrepreneurial program in the nation. The art of teaching business owners how to become successful is a process in which a great curriculum is coupled with great instruction. NxLeveL requires certification for every curriculum instructor, and its content cannot be split into convenient, free-standing seminars. The topics provide a sequential process for learning the best practices and the inclusion of weekly guest speakers is a requirement of the 12-topic course. NxLeveL guides each participant through writing a comprehensive business plan and demonstrates why the plan is an essential strategic piece of every successful business.
More than 1,800 Nevadans have enrolled into the NxLeveL for Entrepreneurs course and without exception, 100% surveyed said they would recommend it to their peers!
